Overview

Role: Product Designer
Timeline: 4 days

Team: Sole designer

What I did: Built the Control Tower Dashboard for primary stakeholders that include the Central Ops Manager, Warehouse Manager and Dispatch Manager.

Context & Challenge

The company operates a fresh flower supply chain network connecting producers, warehouses, and city distribution hubs. It manages thousands of daily orders and deliveries across multiple cities. Operations teams rely on internal tools to manage inventory, routing, and fulfilment.
Currently, these tools are fragmented, and operations managers struggle to take corrective action quickly, leading to dried or dead flowers and increased losses.

SCENARIO
Every day, the company processes:

  • 50,000+ orders

  • 30 warehouses

  • 500 delivery routes

  • Hundreds of SKUs

Typical issues include:

  • Delayed deliveries

  • Low inventory

  • Warehouse capacity overload

  • Order fulfillment delays

  • Supplier delays

Operations managers need to detect issues early and resolve them quickly.
